Remember simple things

After “now”, what will you do? I got a time to think about my future because my friends will leave soon, and my Japanese friends already had started job hunting in Japan, so I was thinking what I would do in the future.  I sometimes I forget why I am here now because my major is Japanese modern literature, but I’ve studied English in IEP. This is not normal study case in Japan, so I feel worried about my future job, or life. Of course I do not know all these studies are going to be effective for job hunting or not, but I sometimes became to be lazy to do anything, and nowadays, I was lazy because I was tired of thinking my future and studying English …
However, this weekend was busy for me, so I do not have time to just sleep in my room. I had some parties with my friends. I went to a pub on Saturday. I was talking with some people like bartenders and waitresses. I just tell names of drinks and snacks, but they could not hear well. And I also went to Hikaru’s host house on Sunday, and almost all family came there, and we ate supper together; then I and Hikaru play with children. It was so excited and aggressive exercise as usual, and we talked a lot. A boy was pretending being Santa Clause (I don’t know why), and he asked me something I want in Xmas and so on, but I could not pronounce those words well; then he could not understand soon.  Also, I went to convenience store and I asked a clerk “I am looking for cookies”, but I was asked again. These experiences were annoying for me because I’ve thought I can speak with anyone now, but it was wrong. But, they reminded me why I am here… I just want to talk many people as well as possible. Nowadays I just care about future jobs or licenses, but I remember I just want to become be the person who can talk with many people in some language. It is simple, but it is also easy to forget. I could remember that feeling, and I will try keeping this in my mind in the future, so it will also help me. Also, I will study hard from today.

Protect children

What is your opinion about violence on television?

Do you like a violence scene? Today, we can watch many movies, dramas, and games on TV anytime you want in the world. You also can choose any things you want to watch, for no one prevents you from watching it. It is effective and useful for us to choose many things for adults; however, it is not good for children’s hearts because they can watch any bad things even if they do not want to watch. The violence scenes affect their personality or thought easily because children can be confused it is real or not, these scenes makes them forget fears, and they causes them to think violence can be funny things.
In first reason, it is usually difficult for children to distinguish the real world or the dream world such as fairly tails; therefore, almost all children can trust anything easily. So, it is difficult for them to understand violence movies or games are not true things after they watch violence scenes; then they confused and some children get some mentally illnesses.
In second, if they watch violence scenes a lot, they will get used to it, and some of them become to forget the fears from the violence. It means that they do not care about their feeling, and they will get a paralyzed heart sense. It causes children not to think about any fears in the future. No senses of fears sometimes causes crimes or delinquents because they can’t understand other people’s feelings.
In third, violence scenes can be funny things for children. There are violence TV programs, games, movies, or so on in the world, and they are included in entertainment equipment. At least the kind of violence scenes are used as entertainmentstuffs, they do not do anything for children except for enjoying them. The thought canbe the basis of DV or other violence stuffs.
In conclusion, violence scenes cause children to be confused, to forget fears, and to misunderstand the meaning of the violence. So, I think we need to protect children from violence stuffs.

I love green day!

Last Friday we had parties of st. patrick’s day. Also I had a birthday party of my friends. At first, I went to Hikaru’s house for preparing my dress and hair because it was first time of wearing a dress for me, so I had asked Hikaru to help me. After that we went to the pub as IEP activity. We could have a green beer, which was Irish beer, and I liked it! Everyone wore green dresses or green hairs, so it was so fun. After one hour, we went to the Area club for the birthday party. It was also first time for me to go to club, so I was half nervous and half excited. We could enter as VIP, and we drank champagne. After that, we danced a lot with my friends. There are lot of people who danced cool and seriously, so I was surprised but it was interesting. However, I have a right ear trouble still now; I cannot hear well… I did not realize there were so loud, but it was a great memory.
Next day, we went to a pub to enjoy real st patrick’s day. There were lot of people in the pub, and everyone wore green. I could have listened to the Irish music many times because there were two Irish bands in the pub. Actually I fell in love with Irish….music! I really like Irish country music and dance, it was so fabulous. Also some band men were so handsome, and one of them who played violin stood on the table and played it. I had really fun time in this weekend!

"Ninya gokko"

One of your fondest childhood memories

Now, I came back to my homestay, and I am in rush of writing this blog. I have played “seek and hide” with boys and girls who were friends of my host brothers. It was not same as Japanese seek and hide because after we hided ourselves, we also had to run away from the tagger in here, so it was like the mixing game of seen and hide plus tag; however, I enjoyed a lot. I think I am still young! I remembered we had played normal seek and hide a lot in Japan when I was child, then it also reminded me of the fondest my childhood memories.

My fondest childhood memory is “Ninjya make-believe”,; we have called it "Ninjya- gokko" . Ninjya is a kind of Japanese spy. It was that we can be Ninjya, and we trained as Ninya.

When I was 10 years old, I and my two cousins found small space for playing at my grandfather’s yard. After we found it, we decided there was our secret “Ninya refuge”, and we made a Ninjya team. We have trained how to run fast, how to stay silently, and my grandfather made bows from bamboo, so we have practiced the bow. We have played seek and hide, but it is really serious for us, because we are Ninjya. If you were found, we have to escape from them! or fight with them. So sometimes we escaped well as Canadian seek and hide, and it was so excited for me. I remember my oldest cousin said “this is our secret refuge, so don’t tell anyone”. My heart was beating when I heard it, and it is so good old days for me.

Welcome!
